Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Mingle account and the personal data attached to it. There are two ways to do it — inside the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open Mingle and go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked.
Deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone, and the account cannot be recovered.
Request deletion by email
If you have already removed the app, email quicksupport36@gmail.com from the email address on your Mingle account, with the subject Delete my Mingle account.
We reply to confirm the request, and complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying that the request came from the account holder.
What is deleted
Deleting your account removes, permanently:
- your sign-in credentials and the account itself;
- your profile — display name, photo, bio, city and state, and selected interests;
- your RSVPs, saved events, and community memberships;
- your direct message conversations, including the messages inside them, for both you and the people you were talking to;
- photos and images you uploaded — your profile photo, event gallery photos, and message attachments;
- your push notification token, so notifications stop.
What happens to shared content
Some things exist in a conversation or an event that belongs to other people too, so they are not simply erased:
- Messages you posted in an event chat are replaced with a “message deleted” placeholder. The text, any attachment, and your name are removed — the placeholder keeps the surrounding conversation readable for the other attendees.
- Events you hosted are handed to a co-host, or to the host of the community the event belongs to, so that people who RSVP’d do not lose the event. If there is no one to hand it to, the event is left without a host and can be claimed by another member.
Retention
Your personal data is removed at the time of deletion. We keep only limited records where the law requires it, or where they are needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms — for example, a record that a purchase was made. Anything retained on that basis is kept no longer than the applicable legal requirement.
Deleting the app is not the same thing
Removing Mingle from your device does not delete your account. Use one of the two methods above.
